Cloud Nine is an international award-winning brand of hair styling tools and accessories. They are based in the UK and ship internationally. Ghd has been the most popular brand in hair straighteners for the past ten years. However, Cloud Nine has become a highly regarded brand with innovative designs and products over the past couple of years. Before I started blogging, I swear by my ghd straighteners. But I have come to realize that they are not the best.. Cloud Nine The Touch Hair straightener.

Cloud Nine’s The Touch Hair Straighteners PS99* have been my trial for the past month. I was highly impressed. Cloud Nine’s latest innovation, the Touch, is their latest addition to their range. The Touch offers instant heat and the Touch starts working from the first stroke. The Touch is completely button-free and heats up to 195 degrees in a matter of seconds. You can also switch to a lower temperature by just touching the plates three times. This is amazing.

The Cloud Nine The Touch Hair Straightener comes in a beautiful box. It includes a 2.6-meter swivel cord that allows for complete freedom when styling. A blue plastic heat protector slides over the styler’s end to prevent any surface from being burned.

Because it has a tapered pocket that you insert your Touch into while it cools down, the heatproof mat is one of the best I have seen. The velcro fasteners allow you to close it with velcro. Cloud Nine donates PS2 per mat purchased, which is incredible. It’s so easy to insert my hairstyler into the mat, wrap it around, and it won’t burn my carpet.

The styling iron is matte black, which I love because it makes my hair easier to curl. The Cloud Nine The Touch Hair Straightener plates have mineral infusions to make them glide through hair effortlessly. This results in beautiful, shiny hair.

Cloud Nine makes a wide-plate hair straightener called The Wide Iron. I was surprised at how large the plates were on The Touch. They are 9cm in length and 2.3cm in width so you can quickly straighten long hair.

I don’t know if you are as stressed about this but I worry that my straighteners won’t be turned off when I leave the house. The Touch is the perfect tool for worriers like me. I have never left my straighteners on while leaving the house, but a friend did.

The Touch will turn off automatically if it has yet to be used more than 30 seconds. This means that I can remember to turn it off. You can touch the plates and the temperature will return to the ideal working temperature if you decide to use it again after 30 seconds.

Although I was concerned that the 30 second switchoff might have made styling my hair more time-consuming, I found it to be a bit frustrating. I usually section my hair and then use heat protection spray to each section. However, once I pick up the styler again, the heat is almost instant so you don’t need to wait for the plates to re-heat.

The Touch lets you choose the temperature that you wish to use. This is something I don’t have with ghd. For most of my hair, I prefer to use a temperature of 195 degrees. However, I prefer to use a temperature of 165 degrees for my fringe and’ baby hair.’ The hair is much finer. The Touch features a brilliant LED temperature control panel that glows blue at 165 degrees and red at 195 degrees. It’s straightforward to use and fuss-free.

The Cloud Nine The Touch hair straightener was my first experience with it. It did a fantastic job of straightening my hair. My hair glides effortlessly over the extremely smooth plates. There is no pulling or tugging on my hair. The Touch is much more gentle on my hair than my god’s. They are 220 degrees, and you can’t alter the heat.

The Touch keeps my naturally curly, frizzy hair straight and shiny all day. It also prevents my hair from frizzing up when there is moisture. This is something that I know my fellow frizzy-haired sisters will love.

Although the buttonless design could seem a bit gimmicky, it’s not..
